Former SEPULTURA members Max Cavalera (guitar, vocals) and Igor “Iggor” Cavalera (drums) brought the iconic 1993 album Chaos A.D. to life on Saturday, September 20, performing as the opening act for SLAYER at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The massive 30,000-seat venue was treated to a rare live presentation of one of metal’s most influential albums, with fan-filmed video footage available below.
Max and Igor were joined on stage by Max‘s son Igor Amadeus Cavalera on bass and Travis Stone on lead guitar, forming the current lineup of CAVALERA. Together, they delivered a faithful recreation of Chaos A.D., taking the audience track by track through the album’s politically charged and groove-laden material.
The set kicked off with an intro by WWE star Damian Priest, before launching into:
- Refuse/Resist
- Slave New World
- Nomad
- Amen
- Propaganda
- We Who Are Not As Others
- Biotech Is Godzilla
- Symptom Of The Universe (Black Sabbath cover)
- Territory
This performance is part of CAVALERA’s ongoing U.S. tour celebrating Chaos A.D., with FEAR FACTORY serving as support throughout the trek.
