MEGADETH Concludes 2026 Canadian Tour With Final Show (Video)

Megadeth Canadian Tour 2026 Final Date

Thrash metal legends MEGADETH wrapped up the Canadian leg of their 2026 tour with a final performance on March 6 at the Centre Vidéotron in Quebec City. Fan-filmed footage of the band’s entire concert has surfaced online and can be viewed below.

The show marked the last date of the band’s “Canada 2026” run, which featured support from fellow thrash heavyweights ANTHRAX and EXODUS. The tour kicked off on February 15 in Victoria and traveled across the country before concluding in Quebec City.

Throughout the night, Dave Mustaine and company delivered a set packed with fan favorites and deep cuts, including classics such as “Hangar 18,” “Sweating Bullets,” “Symphony Of Destruction,” and the epic closer “Holy Wars… The Punishment Due.”

The Canadian dates are part of MEGADETH’s ongoing farewell tour, which was first revealed last August alongside news of the band’s final studio album. Released earlier this year, the record debuted at No. 1 in the United States — the group’s first chart-topping album — moving 73,000 equivalent album units in its opening week (with 69,000 coming from pure album sales), according to Luminate.

Despite the announcement of the band’s final studio effort, MEGADETH’s touring schedule will continue for the foreseeable future. In addition to the completed Canadian run, upcoming legs of the trek will take the band through Latin America and Europe. Later on, the thrash icons will return to North America to join IRON MAIDEN on their 50th-anniversary “Run For Your Lives” tour.

Speaking previously about the timeline for the farewell run, Mustaine told Kerrang! that fans shouldn’t expect the band to disappear immediately, noting that the trek could continue for “another three to five years.”
