Due to overwhelming demand, six additional shows have been added to METALLICA’s highly anticipated “Life Burns Faster” residency at Sphere in Las Vegas. Organizers confirmed the expansion of the run and stated that more details will be announced soon.
Fans eager to secure tickets will have the first opportunity during the official fan club presale, which begins on Wednesday, March 4 at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT. Holders of Legacy or Fifth Member codes can use their existing credentials to access the presale. A variety of ticket options will be available, including single-night seats, two-night no-repeat weekend packages, enhanced experience bundles, and travel packages.
The announcement comes on the heels of growing anticipation surrounding the residency, which was first revealed on February 25. The initial eight-show engagement is scheduled for October 1 and 3, 15 and 17, 22 and 24, and 29 and 31, 2026. The run continues the band’s “No Repeat Weekend” tradition established during the “M72” world tour, ensuring that each weekend features a distinct setlist with no repeated songs.
The Sphere residency represents a milestone moment, as METALLICA becomes the first heavy metal act to headline the technologically advanced venue. Known for its immersive sound and next-generation visual capabilities, the Sphere is expected to amplify the band’s signature live experience with cinematic production elements and enhanced audio precision.
The residency will showcase selections from the band’s extensive catalog, presented through the venue’s cutting-edge technologies, including its ultra-high-resolution LED display that wraps around the audience and multi-sensory enhancements designed to create an unprecedented concert experience. Whether attending from the floor, upper levels, or the renowned 360-degree configuration, fans can expect a performance that merges the raw energy of the band with Sphere’s state-of-the-art immersive capabilities.
