Two years ago today METALLICA played gig for a couple dozen friends, fans and penguins at Carlini Base in the South Shetland Islands of Antarctica. The gig capped off a year where METALLICA performed on all seven continents during a 12-month period.
Now they released a 20-minute documentary, METALLICA: FREEZE ‘EM ALL (ANTARCTICA 2013) from that period which is recorded by Adam Dubin (A Year and a Half in the Life of Metallica) which is available for free download! In order to download the video you must be a member of METALLICA Official Fan Club. If you’re a member, you can download ‘Freeze ‘Em All’ at this location. If you’re not a member yet, you need to join the club first. You can do that at the same link (Don’t worry, It’s free).
