METALLICA, JUDAS PRIEST, GOJIRA, KNOCKED LOOSE, and SPIRITBOX have been revealed as nominees for “Best Metal Performance” at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards. The event will air live on February 2, 2025, from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, broadcasting on CBS and streaming live and on demand on Paramount+.

The Academy has a total membership of over 16,000, with more than 13,000 members eligible to vote.
For the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, the eligibility period spans from September 16, 2023, to August 30, 2024.
The Recording Academy reportedly received 20,000 submissions across 94 categories.
The Grammy voting process starts with members and record labels submitting entries, which are then reviewed to confirm eligibility and proper category placement.
