MORBID ANGEL Kicks Off 2023 U.S. Tour In Pensacola, Florida (Video)

Morbid Angel Live 2023

On March 15, 2023, MORBID ANGEL, the pioneers of death metal, began their United States tour at Vinyl Music Hall in Pensacola, Florida. Fan-filmed video footage can be seen below.

This tour is their first with drummer Charlie Koryn, who has played with other metal bands such as ASCENDED DEAD, INCANTATION, FUNEBRARUM, and SKELETAL REMAINS. The tour, which includes REVOCATION as support, will continue until April 22, 2023, and will close in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The band announced a few days ago that Koryn has joined MORBID ANGEL‘s touring lineup and stated the following: “This week the tour starts! Steve [Tucker, bass/vocals], Trey [Azagthoth, guitar], and Dan [Vadim Von, guitar] are excited to get back out there and pummel every audience, and helping us do so on this run behind the kit will be Charlie Koryn. SEE YOU IN THE PIT!”

MORBID ANGEL‘s latest studio album, Kingdoms Disdained, was released in 2017 via Silver Lining Music and JVC in Japan. The album was recorded at Mana Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida and produced by MORBID ANGEL with Erik Rutan (CANNIBAL CORPSEHATE ETERNALSIX FEET UNDERBELPHEGOR).
