After much speculation and excitement sparked around Labor Day—when mysterious flyers advertising shows at The Roxy, Troubadour, and Whisky A Go Go appeared randomly across Los Angeles—MÖTLEY CRÜE has confirmed today that they will return to Hollywood’s Sunset Strip, where their journey began, for a three-night series of exclusive, intimate club performances this October.
Tickets for the shows at L.A.’s legendary venues—Troubadour (October 7), Roxy (October 9), and Whisky A Go Go (October 11)—will go on sale to the public this Saturday, September 14, at 10 a.m. PT. Tickets will be sold exclusively at the box offices of the three clubs as hard copies, with a limit of two tickets per person.
The three club shows will follow the October 4 release of MÖTLEY CRÜE‘s Cancelled EP, their debut record with Big Machine. The EP includes three new tracks: the Top 5 rock radio hit “Dogs Of War,” their new single “Fight For Your Right,” a cover of the BEASTIE BOYS classic “(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party!),” and the title track, “Cancelled.”
Along with the EP release and special shows, MÖTLEY CRÜE will also open a pop-up store featuring exclusive, band-curated merchandise at the iconic Rainbow Bar & Grill on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. The store will be open daily from 3 p.m. to midnight, from October 6 through October 12.
Tying into the events on the Sunset Strip in October, MÖTLEY CRÜE is also introducing its new philanthropic endeavor, the Mötley Crüe Giveback Initiative, a moniker under which the band will partner with different non-profit organizations near and dear to their hearts moving forward. Kicking it off today, the band put up a pair of coveted tickets to the Troubadour club show on October 7 for auction. Click here to place a bid. Today’s ticket auction will precede the start of a special auction on September 30, which will boast the ultra-rare, stage-played, collectible instruments of the band members from each of the three historic Hollywood club shows. Funds raised from both auctions will benefit Covenant House, a non-profit organization supporting young people experiencing homelessness, a cause close to the hearts of the band members. In addition, MÖTLEY CRÜE is set to host a charity dinner at the legendary Rainbow Bar & Grill on October 8, with proceeds also benefitting Covenant House, in an effort to reach the band’s fundraising goal of $250,000 for Covenant House before the end of this year.
