MOTÖRHEAD’S LEMMY KILMISTER’s Ashes Were Sent Inside Bullets to Closest Friends

Lemmy Kilmister

That Motörhead’s frontman and eternal leader Lemmy Kilmister was a total badass we all knew, but that that he asked his ashes to put inside bullets and sent to his closest friends, that’s totally news.

This fact was told by MTV’s Headbanger’s Ball Riki Rachtman, who posted a photo of a bullet case with Lemmy’ on the side. Before his death Lemmy asked for his ashes to be put in some bullets and handed out to his closest friends,” Riki said. Today I received a bullet and was literally brought to tears.”

According to tennis pro Pat Cash – who shared a photo of one of these special bullets last year, which was given to Ugly Kid Joes Whitfield Crane – a letter accompanying the ashes reads: We all know Lemmy knew many people, but he had few that he considered friends and even fewer that he condered family. Being that you are one of those people he considered family, we would like to share a little piece of him with you.

Lemmy touched all of our lives in a way I don’t think any of us could ever forget, but with these ashes you keep not only the memories you have, you keep Lemmy with you forever. He was Lemmy. He played rock’n’roll. Don’t forget him.”
