Musician Who Called For Ban Of SATCHEL’s P*ssy Melter: STEEL PANTHER Fans Are Trump-Supporting Racists

Japanese Breakfast leader Michelle Zauner, one of the musicians who supported the ban of SATCHEL‘s P*ssy Melter TonePrint, lashed out at STEEL PANTHER fans after the band released a distortion pedal under the name of P*ssy Melter.

As previous reported, Satchel‘s TC Electronic P*ssy Melter TonePrint was taken down and then reintroduced under the new name of Repeat Offender following an online petition that deemed it “obviously sexist.”

Zauner wrote on Twitter:

“These are Steel Panther fans. Trump-supporting racists that continue to harass us. SP rereleasing the pedal is stoking the fire for their fans to continue bullying women in the music industry who just want to make it more accessible.”

The post that Michelle singled out alongside her tweet comes from an individual behind the alias of “music man” and is directed towards NBA star LeBron James. It reads:

“F**k you monkey boy! Your kind are the true racists!”

The same user shared the following tweet as a comment to the P*ssy Melter pedal being released:

“Good for you guys! Glad you didn’t give in to the likes of Japanese Breakfast and that c*nt Raphaelle [Standell-Preston, the frontwoman of Braids, who strongly supported the anti-PM petition]! LONG LIVE STEEL PANTHER!”

Zauner shared that post and wrote:

“Fun reminder I’m still getting these. The kicker is that they are under the impression that speaking up about sexism within my community and the industry I work in is not reasonable but calling me and other women c*nts hundreds of times is.”

A Twitter user behind the alias of JMan previously shared the P*ssy Melter pedal news with Japanese Breakfast, saying, “Check it out, nerds.” Zauner responded:

“Kiss my butt you imbecile.”

When another Twitter user, robocop882, sent Michelle a photo of the PM pedal, saying, “For your tour, pipsqueak!”, Zauner replied:

“Suck my a—s cop [middle finger emoji]”
