Mysterious Masked Group PRESIDENT Unleashes New Single ‘Fearless’

President Band Press Release

The enigmatic British rock act PRESIDENT has returned with its second official single, “Fearless,” released today via King Of Terrors/ADA. Continuing to build intrigue around both their identity and sonic ambition, the masked collective once again proves they’re not here to follow convention.

Rumors continue to swirl that Charlie Simpson—frontman of both the pop-punk band BUSTED and post-hardcore outfit FIGHTSTAR—may be the voice behind PRESIDENT. Fueling speculation further is the fact that King Of Terrors Limited, the label releasing PRESIDENT‘s music, lists Charles Robert Simpson as its director.

“Fearless” builds on the brooding intensity of the band’s debut single, “In The Name Of The Father,” which dropped last month. Blending heavy guitar work with electronic textures and a cinematic, almost apocalyptic atmosphere, PRESIDENT operates in a space where genre rules are more like suggestions. The music is dark, defiant, and emotionally charged—an intentional act of rebellion against formulaic rock tropes.

But mystery remains central to PRESIDENT’s mission. The band has chosen to mask its members and downplay individual identity, aiming to shift focus entirely onto the music and its message. It’s a concept that echoes through both their sound and presentation—intention over image, art over ego.

Fans will finally get a chance to experience PRESIDENT live when they make their debut performance at the U.K.’s Download Festival on June 15, followed by their first headlining show at The Garage in London on July 30.
