The flammable, but unexpected, union of Metal music and Hardcore brought Thrash Metal to this sad and lonely and pathetic little planet. Metal would never be the same. Nor would Hardcore. Because of this unearthly union, Metal evolved into more kinds of Extreme Metal – some say Metal is still alive because of them. First of all was Black Metal. Then, Death Metal. The fast and the violent acquired another meaning with the rise of Extreme Metal. With “Death Eternal” Nadiwrath tell a bit of this story, especially with the sequence of “A Living Disgrace” and “Pathetic Human Stains” where the band the fastest and the most violent they can get. It’s impossible not to mention the high doses of Motörhead, one of the bands that made this union possible – not willingly.
Nadiwrath were formed by Wrath, vocals, (Dødsferd, Grab, G.N.L.S., Drunk Motherf**kers, Gin Lane) and Nadir, guitar, (Dødsferd, GRC, Kevele) back in 2006. However, the activities of this cursed project were terminated in 2019. After 5 years of silence, Nadiwrath are returning with a double compilation, that includes unreleased songs from the “Circle of Pest” era, as also songs from their splits, EPs and first demo. And a second part of “The Last Days of the Parasitical Results of Humanity” will be recorded and released in the near future.
Musicwise, “Death Eternal” shows a Nadiwrath whose passion for early Black Metal can’t be ignored. There are very little features of modern Black Metal here in the album. That’s not a coincidence, the band decided to give the musical stupidity one more chance with tracks as “Winter Nights” or “Eyes Full of Vengeance” with their guitar riffs made of chords as opposed to other Metal bands following Hardcore tradition. There are very few guitar solos either. Another Hardcore tradition. To some extent, ironically, the initial guitar riffs of “Third Eye Wound” address a lot to Sex Pistols. With two covers inside 15 tracks “Crush the Jewish Prophet” from Inquisition and “Succubus of All Vices” from Deathspell Omega Nadiwrath also showcase their origins and influences. But it’s with the nineteen minute masterpiece “The Last Days of the Parasitic Results of Humanity Part I” the band reaches its creativity peak teaching a lesson of how to use the good melody to be unsettling and eerie at the same time. Despair is the word here. My dear child of the night will get overwhelmed by the constant feeling of despair and wrath the track sends. However, as the track has nineteen minutes, everything can happen and, in a sudden, a more cadenced rhythm takes place and gives the track another meaning. As I said, a masterpiece which will be continued.
“Death Eternal” is an album that showcases all the energy and disillusion only Black Metal can tell Metal fans.

I’m just a lucky guy who has chosen metal to live with for a long time. Metal changed my life for good. It made me more confident and stronger. Metalheads are naturally far away from the mass mediocrity and don’t accept impostures from anybody else. Metal is more than music, it’s a life changing oportunity!
