NEAL SCHON Accuses AVENGED SEVENFOLD Of Sabotaging JOURNEY’s Rock In Rio Performance: ‘It’s A Bulls**t Move’

Neal Schon Avenged Sevenfold

Neal Schon has come to the defense of his JOURNEY bandmate Arnel Pineda following negative feedback about the singer’s recent Rock in Rio performance, while also accusing headliners AVENGED SEVENFOLD of deliberately sabotaging their set.

In a heartfelt social media post, Pineda expressed his dismay over the underwhelming show, even offering to leave the band if a million fans asked him to.

Schon later shared his own thoughts on Facebook, standing by Pineda and alleging that AVENGED SEVENFOLD was responsible for the sound issues Journey experienced that night.

Schon shared a video from the stage capturing the fans at Rio and wrote: This clip is from Rio, even though we found out much later that we got extremely limited by AVENGED SEVENFOLD that means that hardly hardly any sound can get out of the PA to the audience. It’s a bulls**t move. Check out the audience. They loved it the rest of its fabricated crap.”

When a fan asked why AVENGED SEVENFOLD headlined instead of JOURNEY, Schon replied with a single word: “Politics.”
