In a world where everything that can be done already has been, Never Again is here to prove that melodic death metal still has aspiring bands out there that have a terrific sound and that is especially evident on their newest EP, “Death Metal Tsunami”. Even though this album only has 3 tracks to its name, this album showcases some truly talent that I haven’t seen from an underground band such as Never Again. The vocals have such ferocity to them that is only improved upon by the minor element of melody that is shoved into the mix, and they are only matched by the heaviness and speed of both the guitars and bass that have a great sound in all tracks with having some crunchy riffs and pulling off some sick grooves. The drums also have a very fast beat that has a nice feel to it that is carried throughtout the entire EP and it really goes hand in hand with the rest of the band as everything total makes this a very nice album and there’s no two ways about it. I cannot wait for Never Again to release another album as I’m sure that they will only improve upon their sound from “Death Metal Tsunami” which is already kick ass as it is.
