The new lineup of NEVERMORE has officially pulled out of their previously announced appearance at ProgPower USA XXV, which is scheduled to take place September 9–12, 2026 at Center Stage Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia.

The cancellation was confirmed following a public statement issued by the band via social media, in which they addressed both their US fans and the festival organizers. In their message, the band explained that the delay in securing work permits for their vocalist has prevented them from committing to the performance as planned.

“A MESSAGE FOR OUR US FANS: We hear your requests for a U.S. tour loud and clear, and we want it to happen just as much as you do,” the band wrote. “The reason it hasn’t yet is simple — getting the work permit for our singer is taking much longer than anticipated. We’ll get it done, but unfortunately we aren’t quite there yet. Sadly, it also means that we won’t be able to perform at ProgPower USA this year.

“Sincere apologies to Glenn, the ProgPower USA crew and our US fans, and thanks for understanding.

“New music is forthcoming, and we’ll finally be back on stages in the States performing it live in 2027. We owe it to all of you and promise we’ll make it worth the wait.

“In light of all of this, we are actively booking more international shows for later this year. Announcements for those will happen soon.”

Despite the setback, the updated lineup of NEVERMORE—already signed to Reigning Phoenix Music—continues to move forward. The group currently features guitarist Jeff Loomis and drummer Van Williams, joined by guitarist Jack Cattoi, bassist Semir Özerkan, and vocalist Berzan Önen.

Their first live performance with this new formation is still set to go ahead, with a debut show scheduled for April 1, 2026 in Istanbul, Turkey, marking the band’s official return to the stage in its new era.
