Jethro Tull’s iconic and most successful album “Aqualung” was released in 1971. The album was the fourth of the band and reached #7 at Billboard. As part of the commemoratives of its 50th anniversary, the band released on March 30th an animated video.
The animation was direted by Sam Chegini and it tells the same story the album cover and the song suggest. Ian Anderson, vocalist of the band, does a special appearance in the film. He comments:
“My friend King Crimson’s Jakko Jaksyzk suggested me his name. So, I contacted him and he gave me an unique version of the song ‘Aqualung’ with very abstract and documental images. He is a very talented young man with a bright future.”

I’m just a lucky guy who has chosen metal to live with for a long time. Metal changed my life for good. It made me more confident and stronger. Metalheads are naturally far away from the mass mediocrity and don’t accept impostures from anybody else. Metal is more than music, it’s a life changing oportunity!
