Ozzy Osbourne recently revealed that he’s been using marijuana after years of struggling with drug addiction and sobriety.

In a recent episode of his podcast, he and Billy Idol‘s guitarist, Billy Morrison, talked about their past experiences with drugs. Osbourne, who has been sober for most of the last decade, admitted that he’s happier now but still uses marijuana occasionally.

“I am happier, but I am not completely sober,” he said. “I use a bit of marijuana from time to time.”

He also went on to share how his wife Sharon is his motivation to avoid harder drugs, adding that she “kicks his butt all the time” and would “make life so difficult” if he were to dabble in his old habits.

He further shared that his wife Sharon serves as his motivation to steer clear of harder drugs, , adding that she “kicks his butt all the time” and would “make life so difficult” if he were to slip back into his old habits.

“Even with marijuana she will f**king find it and get rid of it,” Ozzy continued. I went to a doctor recently and started to have this ketamine. He put a tiny bit in me, but that was enough to spark me. That thing came back and weighted my brain.”

“If you are out there and you are using dope and you want to get off, there is plenty of help.” Osbourne then spoke about how he no longer attends Alcoholics Anonymous meetings but shared that he probably should go back as they have previously “got him sorted out to a certain degree.”

At the age of 75, Ozzy has scaled back his demanding tour commitments in the past few years, grappling with the challenges posed by Parkinson’s disease and undergoing surgery following a fall.

In July of the previous year, the iconic BLACK SABBATH singer had to cancel his scheduled performance at the Power Trip festival due to persisting physical issues.
