BLACK SABBATH frontman Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon have been open about their desire to return to their native England. After years of living in Los Angeles, they announced their plans to relocate. However, those plans have been waylaid by Ozzy‘s health.
After a fan asked on The Osbournes podcast when Ozzy and Sharon are planning to move back to England, Sharon responded: “Well, we’re trying to get on a flight. Yeah, it just seems that every time we’re set to go, something happens with Ozzy‘s health. And so, we’ll get there. We want to go back so bad, but we’ll get there.”
Back in 2022, Ozzy said that he was making the move because “everything’s ridiculous” in the U.S.
“Everything’s f**king ridiculous there,” he told The Observer. “I’m fed up with people getting killed every day. God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings. And there was that mass shooting in Vegas at that concert… It’s f**king crazy.”
“I don’t want to die in America,” he added. “I don’t want to be buried in f**king Forest Lawn. I’m English. I want to be back…. It’s just time for me to come home.”
At the age of 75, Ozzy has scaled back his demanding tour commitments in the past few years, grappling with the challenges posed by Parkinson’s disease and undergoing surgery following a fall.
In July of the previous year, the iconic BLACK SABBATH singer had to cancel his scheduled performance at the Power Trip festival due to persisting physical issues.
