Pearl Jam‘s bassist Jeff Ament talked to Rolling Stone about the term grunge. Take a look:
“I don’t even remember the word ‘grunge’ being used until, maybe, during Mudhoney stuff. And then obviously when Nirvana blew up and things started happening for us. Then we all goer, Mudhoney, Melvins. That, to me, seems like the right thing to call it.”
I’m just a lucky guy who has chosen metal to live with for a long time. Metal changed my life for good. It made me more confident and stronger. Metalheads are naturally far away from the mass mediocrity and don’t accept impostures from anybody else. Metal is more than music, it’s a life changing oportunity!
