I am aware it has been a real while. Well, I guess not that many might have noticed or missed, anyway, much more than I have ever wanted, but, you know, that is life. Ozzy’s passing, some personal issues, author’s block and the reasons go on and on. But fear not my dear children of the night I am back!
Our ghost rider starts with a kind of intro that became very popular with Metal bands. It consists on some classical string chords playing some sweet tunes whose power to deceive the fan is enormous. I used to fool my friends that did not use to like Metal with those intros a long time ago – well, it worked for some time. “Pandora” is not only pretty, it is also mysterious as it flerts with the unknown given by the not obvious way the notes go. It certainly paves the way to album warming “Saturno” which has, to some extent, a flair with the neoclassical sounds. It calls the attention the versatilly of Beatriz da Aldea voice which can explore in a blink of an eye the depths of Extreme Metal vocals and the clean ones showing a rare tuning. The strangiest thing, or not, is that noo one can really tell it is a woman who is singing the Extreme Metal parts due to the extreme aggressive tone of her voice which constrasts with the sometimes nieve guitar notes. By the way, listening to “Minerva” I got the feeling the volume of the rhthym guitars are mixed a little too low. But, it’s in tracks as “Lotophages” that they really show everything they got. Grand finale “Magnolia” breakes the infinite mood ofr aggression with a more cadenced and melodic theme. Well, it took me a long time to write about “Pythía.” There was a lot of stop and goes, but it is finally here.
An interesting fact about “Pythía” is that all songs are inspired on Greek mithology in order to tell the circle of life within human parameters.
Póstuma “Pythía” was released in 2025.

I’m just a lucky guy who has chosen metal to live with for a long time. Metal changed my life for good. It made me more confident and stronger. Metalheads are naturally far away from the mass mediocrity and don’t accept impostures from anybody else. Metal is more than music, it’s a life changing oportunity!
