“A Silent Soul Screams Loud” is a surprise for each track that unveils a musical world of refenreces that may shadow the unadvised. Pyogenesis work some very interesting vocal lines showing that vocalist Flo Schwarz has a lot to give. His combination of a harsh, but well-tuned voice is a killer and works perfectly to what Pyogenesis intend. In a way, “A Silent Soul Screams Loud” has a monolythical line of musical thought which the mix of the tendencies I mentioned before. Opening track “Survival of the Fittest” starts with a dazzling Old School guitar riff which seems not to match with the voice. But soon the feeling goes away as the song goes on. “Mother Bohemia” has the fastest tempo of all making it a great piece of Power Metal though the Modern Metal vocals, but instrumentally it is a Power Metal piece. On the other hand, after some seconds of listening, the amazing feeling that “Mother Bohemia” passes to fan makes him/her forget the Modern Metal touches – just kidding…
“A Silent Soul Screams Loud” has the honor of being the perfect mix between all those modern influences with a more classic approach. It also shows that all the musical revolutions Pyogenesis went through in the career are paying off. Go on guys. Keep up the good work.
“A Silent Soul Screams Loud” Pyogenesis will be released on January 24th via AFM Records.
