Lana Del Rey confirmed that RADIOHEAD has taken legal action and is suing her for plagiarizing 1993’s “Creep“ on the “Get Free” track off her latest album, 2017’s “Lust for Life.”
Lana tweeted:
“It’s true about the lawsuit. Although I know my song wasn’t inspired by ‘Creep,’ Radiohead feel it was and want 100% of the publishing – I offered up to 40 over the last few months but they will only accept 100. Their lawyers have been relentless, so we will deal with it in court.”
Blur guitarist Graham Coxon chimed in on the whole matter, sharing a clip of The Hollies’ “The Air That I Breathe” and briefly tweeting:
“I always thought The Hollies wrote it… hehe.”
