Since not being able to tour for the past year, German industrial metallers have found downtime from the road quite productive.

In a new interview with Motor.de, RAMMSTEIN keyboardist Flake Lorenz stated: “The fact that we couldn’t perform live increased our creativity. We had more time to think of new things and less distraction. As a result, we recorded a record that we hadn’t planned on.”

During a chat on the Rodeo Radio podcast last June, drummer Christoph Schneider said: “We still have so many ideas lying around, so many unfinished songs. We have met and we are working on new songs. We want to work on songs. But whether or not it will turn into an album, nobody knows yet.”

RAMMSTEIN previously announced rescheduled North American tour which will now take place in 2021.

The tour will now begin on August 22, 2021 in Montreal and end on October 1, 2021 in Mexico City; the full list of rescheduled dates are below. All tickets for the original shows will be honored at the rescheduled dates. Ticket holders will receive an email notification from the ticketing company soon that includes information on how to request a refund if you are unable to attend the rescheduled date.

Unfortunately, the previously scheduled show in Washington, DC has been cancelled due to scheduling issues, and refunds will be available at point of purchase.

Tickets and dates for the tour can be found here.

RAMMSTEIN‘s latest album, simply called Rammstein, was released through Universal Music on 17 May 2019.
