It’s been only four months since OVERKILL released their latest album The Wings Of War, but already they got a follow-up album in the can.
At one of their recent shows, a fan met the band backstage and asked them about their future plans, of which one of the members apparently said they expect to start writing their next album by the beginning of next year or so.
While there are currently no further more details on the record (including a potential release date), what is known is that it will be studio album number 20 in OVERKILL‘s discography and their second release with Jason Bittner (formerly of SHADOWS FALL and FLOTSAM AND JETSAM), who has been part of the band for only two years.
OVERKILL will continue to tour in support of The Wings Of War this summer and fall with a series of European tours, followed by an appearance at MEGADETH‘s MegaCruise fest in October.
