Swedish heavy metal powerhouse SABATON has officially revealed the rescheduled dates for its North American “Legends On Tour” 2026 run, following the postponement of the originally planned trek earlier this year.
The band was forced to delay the tour so bassist Pär Sundström could recover from “inflammation in his arms.” The original itinerary was set to begin on February 9 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and would have taken the group across the United States and Canada, with major stops planned in cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and Boston before wrapping up on April 20 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
On Thursday, March 5, SABATON shared an update with fans via social media, confirming the newly scheduled dates for the tour and offering additional details about changes to the itinerary.
The band wrote: “Friends in US + Canada, we’ve rescheduled the shows for ‘Legends On Tour’ 2026 and we can’t wait to see you all!
“Big love to Orlando for joining the tour schedule, and a shout-out to Winnipeg — we’ve added a 2nd show due to high demand! Unfortunately, we’ve had to cancel our shows in Tampa, Greensboro and Pittsburgh. We are very sorry to cause any disappointment, but Pittsburgh, stay tuned as there may be some news soon!
“If you already purchased tickets for the shows earlier this year, you should have received an email from the official point of sale with details about your options. You’ll be able to attend a rescheduled date or request a refund.
“Check the tour schedule below and visit sabaton.net/tour for more info and tickets.”
Despite a few canceled stops, the upcoming run will still cover more than two dozen cities across North America, including new additions like Orlando and a second Winnipeg show due to strong demand.
Joining SABATON on the trek will be Michigan rockers POP EVIL and rising metal act WINGS OF STEEL.
