SACRED REICH Not Playing MegaCruise; Rumored To Be Replaced By DREAM THEATER, KING’S X Or FLOTSAM AND JETSAM

Sacred Reich 2019

Arizona thrashers SACRED REICH have announced that, due to scheduling conflicts, they will not be taking part in MEGADETH‘s MegaCruise this coming October.

At the same time the cruise takes place, the band — who drops their first album in 23 years, Awakening, on August 23rd — will be supporting GWAR on the “Use Your Collusion” tour in North America. This concerned some SACRED REICH fans who were wondering if they were actually still on the bill for MegaCruise, of which the band issued the following statement on Facebook:

Sorry. We can’t pass up a two month tour right after our record comes out to do the cruise. We don’t want to disappoint anyone but this is a great tour for the band. We hope you understand.

It is rumored that either DREAM THEATER, KING’S X or FLOTSAM AND JETSAM — all of whom MEGADETH have been friends with, or fans of, for decades — will take SACRED REICH‘s place in MegaCruise, which will also include performances by the likes of MEGADETH, ANTHRAX, TESTAMENT, QUEENSRŸCHE, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, DRAGONFORCE, OVERKILL, DEATH ANGEL, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, DEVILDRIVER, PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS, DORO, ARMORED SAINT, JOHN 5, METAL CHURCH, BEASTO BLANCO, TOOTHGRINDER, METALACHI and MECANIX.

Stay tuned for updates! Metal Addicts also continues to wish Dave Mustaine a speedy recovery from throat cancer!
