SANGUISUGABOGG Accuse Streetwear Brand Revenge Of Logo Theft: ‘Send Us a Check’

Columbus death metal crew SANGUISUGABOGG are making noise offstage this week, calling out streetwear brand Revenge for allegedly lifting their logo for a new merch drop—without permission.

The item in question? A jacket slated to release this Friday, October 31st, as part of Revenge’s latest line. But fans of the band noticed something familiar in the design: a manipulated version of SANGUISUGABOGG’s logo, repurposed without any apparent credit or collaboration.

The band took to social media on October 29th to address the situation directly: “(For record, they took our logo without any of us knowing.. a huge street wear company big in hip hop seen on games like gta v) Damn we got the unofficial @revenge x @sanguisugaboggband collab before GTA 6 Next time tag us..”

The tone shifted from tongue-in-cheek to frustrated when members chimed in under Revenge’s own Instagram post announcing the drop. The band’s account commented, “Juice Wrld would never..” with a thumbs down emoji, referencing the late rapper closely associated with the brand.

Drummer Cody Davidson added, “thanks for asking to use our logo i guess? tf?”, while guitarist/bassist Drew Arnold kept it blunt: “Send us a check.”

No official response from Revenge has surfaced yet, but the exchange has sparked conversation across music and fashion circles about creative credit, brand ethics, and the blurred lines between homage and theft.
