SEPULTURA’s ANDREAS KISSER Leaves European Tour Due To ‘Family Emergency’; Replacement Announced

Sepultura With Jean Patton

SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser has been forced to leave the band’s current European tour due to a “family emergency.”

He is being temporarily replaced on the road by Jean Patton of fellow Brazil-based heavy metal act PROJECT46.

SEPULTURA said in a statement: “Unfortunately, @andreaskisser has returned home due to a family emergency. However, the show must go on, so we’ve tapped fellow Brazilian @jeanpatt6n (of @project46_oficial) to riff with until Andreas‘ return.

“Huge thanks to him for jumping in on short notice (practice is sounding great already!). Please join us in welcoming Jean and wishing Andreas the best. Tour continues tomorrow at @festival_kilkim_zaibu”.

SEPULTURA‘s latest studio album, Quadra, was released in February 2020. It is a concept album based on numerology, the number four and its significance as depicted on Quadrivium. The band went to Sweden to work with producer Jens Bogren for the recording of Quadra.
