Since the death of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, his family has been dealing with some unsettling claims. Among them, a woman convinced she is the singer’s secret daughter reportedly sent Sharon Osbourne a shocking package containing her blood, hair, and toenails.
Since his passing, Ozzy’s daughter Kelly Osbourne has revealed that the family has been contacted by “quite a few nutters.” Speaking on the first episode of The Osbournes podcast since her father’s death, Kelly opened up about the bizarre claims: “We’ve had quite a few nutters coming out of the woodwork saying that they’re speaking to dad from the grave.”
Sharon Osbourne then shared the most disturbing of these incidents: “We had one lady send us her toenails.” Kelly added further context: “It was a toenail, some blood, hair, because she’s absolutely convinced that she is dad’s child.”
Ozzy and Sharon, who married in 1982, had three children together: Aimee, 42, Kelly, and Jack, 40. Ozzy also had three children from his first marriage to Thelma Riley in 1971. He fathered Jessica and Louis, and additionally adopted Thelma’s son Elliot from a previous relationship.
Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22 from a heart attack, according to his death certificate filed in London. The document also confirmed his long struggle with coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s.
The family released a statement at the time, saying: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”
