‘AC/DC: The Bon Scott Era’ Mobile App From ‘In The Studio’ Now Available

The first in a series of “In The Studio With Redbeard” mobile apps is available. “AC/DC: The Bon Scott Era” is an interactive experience chronicling the legendary band’s long way to the top… narrated by AC/DC‘s Angus and Malcolm Young themselves.

In over an hour of conversations with renowned rock broadcaster Redbeard, the Young brothers take you on a journey through the classic era in the AC/DC story: relating their migration to Australia in the early 1960s; discussing albums including ‘T.N.T’, ‘High Voltage’, ‘Let there Be Rock’, ‘Powerage’ and ‘Highway to Hell’; talking about their relationship with famed record producer Mutt Lange and remembering the tragic death of their iconic frontman Bon Scott.

As you progress year-by-year along a full biographical timeline, the memories and insights of the Young Brothers are brought to life through rare photographs and memorabilia.

The app allows you to to either stream audio or download to your device for offline use.

“AC/DC: The Bon Scott Era” also features a video introduction from the “In The Studio” host, Redbeard, as well as the “Bonfire Radio” documentary, originally broadcast in 1997, an expansive quiz to test your knowledge of the band and a gallery of rare AC/DC photographs.
