ATHANATHEOS returns with its second album Prophetic Era (Or How Yahveh Became The One). An epos that further pursues the atheistic journey and in-depth concept ATHANATHEOS stands for.
Prophetic Era (Or How Yahveh Became The One) will be released via Lavadome Productions on June 29.
The album is comprised of 7 songs clocking at around 48 mins with two songs overlapping 10 mins mark and border on the epic side. With influences from Black Metal and even Thrash, Prophetic Era is still predominantly a dark Death Metal album. The utilization of epic and atmospheric doesn’t always have to stand for fancy, accessible, even commercial ambitions and the music of ATHANATHEOS is the proof.
The lyrics create an integral part of the music. A lot of characters, even voices of nations represented by Gregorian-like choirs, are brought to life through the lyrics, telling their story, often times in a dialogues. Simply put Prophetic Era (Or How Yahveh Became The One) is a great experience and an addition to the band’s concept which consists of at least five albums.
