Grammy nominated Jacob Hansen was once again working behind the scenes for the new single Enmity
The four piece alternative metal outfit from Turku, Finland — AWAKE AGAIN — has released their third single from a four single series. Their previous singles “Into Two” and “Look Around” are now followed by “Enmity” which is their most ferocious and straightforward song yet.
“‘Enmity’ delves in to the dark corners of human psyche: the mass psychosis created by a truly destructive ideology” the band says.
“‘Enmity’ is relentless pounding, brutality, bestiality and it has an epic chorus. This is what perdition sounds like!”
Written by the band, ‘Enmity‘ got its finishing touch from the master producer Jonas Olsson who has worked in the past with artists like ROBIN and AMORPHIS.
“When Jonas heard ‘Enmity’ for the first time he got so excited about it. With a couple of his ideas to the arrangement we managed to get the absolute best out of the song” the band says.
“Enmity” was mixed and mastered once again by Grammy nominated Jacob Hansen (AMARANTHE, VOLBEAT, EPICA…) who’s work can be heard also on the two previous AWAKE AGAIN singles. Hansen managed to make a huge wall of sound out of the heavy riffs and synthesizers.
“Jacob delivers world class sound every single time. ‘Enmity’ kicks you in the a—s in way that takes your breath away” says the lead vocalist Österman.
