Finnish-Canadian Rock Band FORTH Revives Grunge With Powerful Debut Single, ‘Black Angel’

Grunge is back with FORTH’s new single “Black Angel”from their upcoming sophomore album, Captivity. Listen to the “Black Angel” below.

It’s said that music works in 20 year cycles, and FORTH’s new sound is right on target for the return to the deeper, more emotional rock of the 1990’s Seattle sound. Recently signed to Secret Entertainment, FORTH is taking a big step out to an international audience with its upcoming releases.

The first single, “Black Angel” marks a heavier turn from FORTH’s debut album, Road Stories. Front man, Brian Forth from Toronto grew up listening to bands like Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots and those influences infuse the song writing. Brian joins his Finnish band mates Tim Norrgrann (lead guitar), Mikael Söderbäck (bass) and Eric Von Hertzen (drums) in this high-octane international rock quartet.

FORTH has two more singles slated for release in the near future, culminating in the release of the album Captivity in March 2019.
