IRON MAIDEN‘s new plane will have to land in Düsseldorf a day before the gig and take a bus to the festival, since their new and improved plane is too heavy to land in Dortmund, Germany, Germany’s Spiegel reports.

Ed Force One is being piloted on the band’s world tour by MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson. World tour will kick off tomorrow (February 24) in Florida.

IRON MAIDEN’s sixteenth studio album, “The Book of Souls”, It is the band’s first studio double album, and therefore also their longest to date, with a total length of 92 minutes. The album’s launch and its supporting tour were delayed to allow vocalist Bruce Dickinson time to recover from treatment which he received in early 2015 to remove a cancerous tumour.
