Minneapolis Rock trio LATE NIGHT FIGHTS has released the Official Music Video for “Nothing to Lose“, off of their debut album “Jousthouse”. “Nothing to Lose” was written and Produced by Ryan Guanzon, directed by Rev. John Wheeler, and filmed by Colton Otte. The band is currently shooting another video for their single “Saving Face” and working on their next EP which they will be recording with Dan Korneff and James Harley at Sonic Debris Studios in New York next month.
The band comments: “This song is about how much uncertainty is involved when you meet someone, and how the exhilaration can so quickly change to shock. People are often not what they seem and sometimes their deep dark secrets get exposed, and sometimes it’s a pegging fetish.”
Arejay Hale from the band Halestorm played a few tracks on drums for the band and he states:
“I had the honor of playing drums a few tracks for LATE NIGHT FIGHTS, which was intimidating because I know what a great drummer Ryan Guanzon is! When I first met Ryan he was slamming the drums with New Medicine, who had done several tours with us. Getting to know Ryan he started showing me demos he wrote, played guitar, bass, keyboards and sang on, it blew me away! It’s easy to see he has no shortage of talent, playing multiple instruments, singing and writing music like a modern day Dave Grohl. I believe LNF’s sound has elements of old school punk, 90s rawness, overall a little bit dirty but yet the tones of the recording sound clean and full and fat, giving it a unique modern sound where it fits in yet stands out in today’s music.
The number one thing I love about this record is the heart and soul put into the songs. Every lyric, melody or instrumentation is directly from the heart which is apparent in the writing and performance of each song. That, I believe, is the most important part of any record and this one was made for all the right reasons; raw emotion let out in music for people to hear and feel!”

“Jousthouse” was co-produced by James Harley (Quietdrive, Prince) and vocalist/guitarist Ryan Guanzon (formerly of Photofinish/Atlantic Records recording artist New Medicine), and mixed by Dan Korneff (Breaking Benjamin, Pierce the Veil), delivers angst and melody reminiscent of the Seattle Grunge era, but with a modern edge. LATE NIGHT FIGHTS is the rock response to all the physical, psychological, and emotional battles that keep you up at night.
