MASQUE’S ‘The Dead of Night’ Is Back

Masque were formed in the United Kingdom in 1986, and their first and only mini-album entitled “The Dead Of Night” was released in 1988, on vinyl only. Strongly influenced by British metal icons such as Iron Maiden, the album was dominated by the powerful female vocal performance and excellent compositions. The EP was originally released in micro quantity, and the band splitted up soon after its release. But over the years, “The Dead Of Night” gained a cult status, and is considered to be one of the best post-NWOBHM British traditional metal releases. Now, the album is officially reissued for first time on limited edition CD, includes 6 previously unreleased bonus tracks and liner notes.
