During a satellite interview with Chicago’s “WGN Morning News”, MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx made it clear that he is not a fan of Justin Bieber.
After WGN entertainment critic Dean Richards asked Sixx and bandmate Vince Neil what their reaction would be if the pop superstar asked to join them on stage. Sixx said nothing, instead opting to give Bieber the double bird (raising both hands with his middle fingers extended) on live TV. The “WGN Morning News” team could hardly contain themselves with laughter.
After a commercial break, “WGN” apologized for the incident and blurred the obscene gesture in the video below.
MÖTLEY CRÜE‘s “The Final Tour” kicked off last year and will end New Year’s Eve at the Staples Center in Los Angeles after one more round of North American gigs. Because of higher ticket demand, some cities will see them twice. The band said in a statement, “In some of the cities, we could only reach a fraction of the fans who wanted to come see us play last year, so we’re coming back to those places.”
Fan club concert pre-sales start Wednesday (January 21) and Alice Cooper will open all the shows.
Tickets for the final show in Los Angeles go on sale Saturday (January 24th) at 10:00 a.m. PT.
When their upcoming retirement was announced last year, the CRÜE actually signed a legal contract saying that they could not go back on their agreement to cease touring.
To coincide with the announcement of the last show, the band released a new video, “All Bad Things”, which includes clips from throughout their career.
