Former POISON IDEA drummer Steven “Slayer Hippy” Hanford passed away Thursday morning (May 21) at the age of 50.
His fiancée confirmed the news in a Facebook post, writing that he suffered a heart attack.A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to cover his funeral expenses and can be found at this location.
Hanford was in POISON IDEA from 1987 to 1993 and played on all of their albums from 1987’s War All the Time through 1993’s We Must Burn.
