During a yesterday (June 10) live video chat between MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson and his business partner Thom Hazaert, Rapper Post Malone made a surprise guest appearance.
When asked to name his favorite metal bands, Post Malone replied: “I’d say y’all. I mean, MEGADETH has gotta be the best for me. I love MEGADETH, I love METALLICA… I love… F*ck, man. So much sh*t… I love PANTERA.
“I got to meet Phil [Anselmo] backstage at a show, and he’s a cool-ass dude, and he talks like this [adopts a deep voice]. I’m, like, dude, it’s gotta hurt to talk [like that], but he’s still f*cking got it.”
Ellefson, recently released cover of Post Malone track “Over Now,” which is taken from bassist’s yet-untitled album, tentatively due in October.
