Earlier today, Bild reported that RAMMSTEIN frontman Till Lindemann is in intensive care in a Berlin hospital after being diagnosed with COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus.
Now, RAMMSTEIN have shot down a report that singer Lindemann has tested positive for COVID-19.
Band issued a following statement: “Yesterday evening Till Lindemann was admitted to a hospital on the band’s doctor’s advice. He spent the night in intensive care but has been moved as he is feeling better. Till has tested negative for the coronavirus.
The pandemic’s global death toll has reached over 25,000, while the global number of cases has surpassed 552,000, according to the WHO, which is the health agency of the United Nations.
RAMMSTEIN released their seventh studio album, simply entitled Rammstein, on May 17, 2019 via UME/Spinefarm in Europe and Caroline Records in the U.S.
