RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS have announced that they will be touring UK this December, which will be they first tour in UK since 2011. As the support, they are bringing Japanese metal trio BABYMETAL.
Tickets for all seven shows go on general sale from 10am on September 2 through TeamRock Tickets.

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS‘s latest album, The Getaway, was released through Warner Bros. on June 17, 2016.
The album was a worldwide commercial success, debuting at number-one in several countries including Australia, Austria, Belgium (Flanders), Belgium (Wallonia), Ireland, Italy,Switzerland, Netherlands and New Zealand and debuted in the top ten in Canada, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Finland, France, Greece, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Sweden,United Kingdom and United States.
In its home country of United States, The Getaway debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, with 118,000 equivalent album units, behind Drake’s Views. While it was the best-selling album of the week, selling 108,000 copies in its first week, Drake still managed to claim the number one spot due to online streaming even though the Chili Peppers sold more albums. The Getaway was the number one album in Overall Album Sales, Digital Album Sales, Rock Albums and Alternative Albums in its debut in the United States. It marked the group’s seventh straight album to make its debut within the top four positions on the chart in the past 25 years dating back to 1991’s Blood Sugar Sex Magik. In its second week, The Getaway fell to number nine on the Billboard 200, earning 28,000 units (down 76 percent).
In the United Kingdom, the album debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart selling 40,000, behind Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool.
As of August 2016, the album has sold 831,000 copies worldwide.
