Death metal veterans SIX FEET UNDER are hitting the road this September for their “Midnight In Hell” U.S. tour. They’ll be joined by EXHORDER, WRETCHED, and INCITE.
SIX FEET UNDER vocalist Chris Barnes comments: “After a highly successful return to touring, I’m very excited to get back on the road and continue the mayhem this fall! Our friends EXHORDER, WRETCHED and INCITE will be our accomplices this time around. We will be dusting off some classic SIX FEET UNDER material and three songs we’ve never played live, including the fan favorite ‘The Noose’! The follow-up to SIX FEET UNDER‘s 2024 album, Killing For Revenge, is officially in the works, as the band started recording it earlier this month.
Forged as a side project for Barnes during his final years with the band that he co-founded, CANNIBAL CORPSE, SIX FEET UNDER became the frontman’s sole focus in 1995, coinciding with the release of their debut, Haunted. Only Barnes remains from SIX FEET UNDER‘s original incarnation, but the quality has remained remarkably consistent. The current lineup of Barnes, guitarists Jack Owen (ex-CANNIBAL CORPSE) and Ray Suhy, bassist Jeff Hughell, and drummer Marco Pitruzzella make for a devastating unit.
