GUNS N’ ROSES guitarist Slash has announced the passing of his 25-year-old stepdaughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight.
On Instagram, Slash shared the heartbreaking news, stating: ‘Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024.
‘Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul.
‘The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss.’
Slash‘s announcement followed just hours after he canceled four shows on his S.E.R.P.E.N.T tour, a blues festival he was touring.
Lucy-Bleu was born in 1998 to Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight.
Slash and Meegan Hodges initially dated in 1989 when Meegan was roommates with Erin Everly, who was married to Axl Rose of GUNS N’ ROSES.
Slash and Meegan rekindled their relationship in 2015 and have been together since.
