SLAYER have officially announced a new run of Latin American live dates, with the shows also serving as part of the ongoing 40th anniversary celebrations of their landmark album Reign In Blood.
The announcement follows a brief teaser campaign that first revealed a series of city names — Bogotá, Santiago, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, and Mexico City — alongside a May 29 reveal date. Now confirmed, the band has laid out the full schedule for the upcoming appearances.
The newly confirmed dates are as follows:
- October 21: Ciudad de México, MEX
- December 05: Bogotá, COL
- December 10: Santiago, CHL
- December 14: Buenos Aires, ARG
- December 17: São Paulo, BRA
Each of the shows will feature SLAYER performing material in celebration of Reign In Blood, marking four decades since the release of one of the most influential albums in thrash metal history. The anniversary theme ties these appearances directly into the band’s wider 2025–2026 live activity, which has largely centered around revisiting their classic catalog in special, limited settings.
Support will vary by region, with POWER TRIP confirmed for the Mexico City date, while German thrash veterans KREATOR will join SLAYER for the remaining Latin American appearances.
This new set of dates continues SLAYER’s selective approach to live performances since their return in 2024. Following their farewell tour in 2019, the band initially stepped away from the stage before re-emerging for a limited number of high-profile appearances rather than a full-scale comeback.
Since then, SLAYER have performed at major festivals and headline shows across North America and Europe, including stops at Louder Than Life and Hersheypark Stadium. One of their most notable recent appearances came in 2025 at BLACK SABBATH’s “Back To The Beginning” farewell concert in Birmingham, where they delivered a special six-song set at Villa Park.
Alongside these newly announced Latin American dates, SLAYER are also continuing their Reign In Blood 40th anniversary performances with shows scheduled for September 4 in Shakopee, Minnesota, and two nights in Los Angeles on November 13 and 14. The Los Angeles dates will feature support from CANNIBAL CORPSE, CAVALERA, and CROWBAR, while the Minnesota show includes DOWN, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, and HATEBREED.
The lineup for all of SLAYER’s comeback shows in 2024 and 2025 has remained consistent with their final 2019 tour, featuring Kerry King and Paul Bostaph alongside Tom Araya and Gary Holt.
