SLAYER Announces Two U.S. Dates Celebrating 40 Years Of ‘Reign In Blood’

Slayer 2025

Thrash metal legends SLAYER are set to mark a major milestone in their career, announcing two exclusive U.S. headlining shows to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their iconic album Reign In Blood. Both performances will feature the record played in full — a rare treat for fans — and will include the band’s first Los Angeles concert in seven years.

The special anniversary dates are scheduled as follows:

September 04 – Shakopee, MN – Mystic Lake Amphitheater
November 13 – Inglewood, CA – Kia Forum

These shows will stand as the only U.S. performances where Reign In Blood will be played in its entirety, making them unique among SLAYER’s 2026 appearances. Festival sets throughout the year will feature different material instead.

Each date will also include a stacked supporting lineup. The Shakopee show will feature DOWN, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES and HATEBREED, while the Los Angeles performance will see support from CANNIBAL CORPSE, CAVALERA and CROWBAR.

Ticket access begins with the Citi presale on Tuesday, April 21 at 12 p.m. local time, followed by the artist presale on Wednesday, April 22 at 10 a.m. local time (password: RIB2026). General on-sale starts Friday, April 24 at 10 a.m. local time. A limited number of VIP experiences and curated travel packages will also be available, with tickets accessible via slayer.net.

SLAYER have remained selective with their live appearances since returning to the stage, making each performance a notable event. Their only U.S. East Coast show of 2025 took place at Hersheypark Stadium in Pennsylvania, drawing massive attention from fans across the region.

Earlier that same year, the band delivered high-profile performances at major international events, including Louder Than Life in Kentucky, as well as large-scale shows in Cardiff and London in the U.K., and Festival D’été De Québec in Canada.

They also paid tribute to heavy metal pioneers BLACK SABBATH by performing a six-song set at the band’s sold-out “Back To The Beginning” final concert on July 5, 2025, held at Villa Park in Birmingham, England — further cementing their legacy among metal’s elite.
