SLIPKNOT Plays First Show With New Mystery Member (Video)

Slipknot Performs With New Member 2023

Last night at Nova Rock Festival in Austria, SLIPKNOT performed with an unidentified new member for the first time following the announcement that the band had parted ways with longtime keyboardist Craig Jones.

They played two songs, “The Blister Exists” and “Purity,” which they haven’t done for eight years, as well as a new song from 2020’s The End, So Far album.

No explanation was given for Jones‘ exit from the group.

Jones joined SLIPKNOT in 1996, shortly after the group had completed their demo album, Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. In addition, percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan will miss some of the band’s upcoming tour dates to stay at home and support his wife who is dealing with some medical issues.
