SLIPKNOT fans were left both thrilled and frustrated over the weekend after the band’s much-hyped mystery countdown ended with the surprise launch of an ultra-limited deluxe 6-LP 25th Anniversary Blood Filled Box Set — which sold out within minutes.
For weeks, fans had been speculating about the cryptic teaser website 742617000027.net, which featured a countdown set to expire on July 21 at 3 PM ET / 12 PM PT. Many believed it would unveil a 25th-anniversary edition of SLIPKNOT’s 1999 self-titled debut. However, when the timer hit zero, fans were met with server errors and technical glitches, leaving many confused and unable to access the announcement.
When the dust settled, the band revealed the 25th Anniversary Blood Filled Box Set, limited to just 100 copies worldwide, each priced at $249.99.
