Film studio Monarch Films made a humorous mistake when they used a photo of STEEL PANTHER as the cover for a MÖTLEY CRÜE documentary.
On Sunday, STEEL PANTHER frontman Michael Starr shared a video from a fan who noticed the mistake.
The documentary is titled Rock ‘n Roll Icon: Motley Crue and was released in 2020. It is only available to watch on Prime Video with a Docurama subscription. Oddly, the thumbnail includes the bottom half of a real picture of MÖTLEY CRÜE.
MÖTLEY CRÜE are currently on North American stadium tour with DEF LEPPARD, POISON and JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS.
Remaining dates and tickets for “The Stadium Tour” can be found here.
