DYING FETUS and SUICIDE SILENCE have come under fire from segments of their fanbases after being announced as support acts for SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL’s early 2026 European and UK tour. The backlash has stemmed from multiple directions—some fans taking issue with the involvement of SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL frontman Alex Terrible due to past allegations, while others have questioned whether the Russian deathcore outfit has earned the right to headline over the more established names in the genre.

In response to the criticism, SUICIDE SILENCE addressed the situation directly in a newly shared video discussion. Frontman Eddie Hermida didn’t mince words, stating: “Every single person talking s**t is going to be going to at these f**king shows. Look, anybody who is doubting—anybody who says that SUICIDE or DYING FETUS need to be above SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL—just go to a SLAUGHTER show; look at how many people they f**king draw. It is a f**king honor to be on tour with them. It is f**king cool to see a younger band taking the reins of deathcore and taking it way further than we ever did. Like, this is a proud moment for us. And if you f**king think otherwise, f**k you.”

Guitarist Mark Garza echoed Hermida’s sentiment, shedding light on the scale of the upcoming shows: “For some people that don’t know, some of these shows are arenas, because SLAUGHTER is that big. Regardless what you think about them or say about them, they’re f**king doing it, man.”

Garza also noted the disconnect between online criticism and actual turnout: “The real world and the comments are two different worlds. You can talk s**t on them all you want, but there’s arenas on the f**king tour—that’s crazy.”
