SYDNEY SWEENEY Names NINE INCH NAILS As Her Favorite Childhood Band

Sydney Sweeney

In a recent interview with Vogue, Emmy-nominated actress Sydney Sweeney, known for her roles in Euphoria, The White Lotus, and Immaculate, revealed an unexpected answer when asked about her favorite childhood band. Fellow actress Amanda Seyfried asked, “What’s your favorite band from childhood?” and Sweeney didn’t hesitate: “NINE INCH NAILS.”

It’s not exactly the kind of band you’d expect a young actress to grow up obsessing over, but it gives fans a glimpse into her early musical tastes. Could this hint at a secret high-school goth or metalhead phase? Perhaps.

Sweeney’s love for the band comes at an exciting time for fans: NINE INCH NAILS are launching the second North American leg of their critically acclaimed “Peel It Back” tour in February 2026. Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off February 5 in New Orleans, Louisiana, and wraps March 16 in Sacramento, California, with stops in major cities including Washington, D.C., Montreal, Austin, Las Vegas, and San Francisco. Longtime friend and collaborator Boys Noize will join the group on all dates.

The “Peel It Back” tour has already been a massive success, with the European leg drawing fans in Dublin, London, Paris, and Madrid, and the first North American leg packing venues in Brooklyn, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Since its debut, the tour has attracted over 450,000 fans across both continents.
