
SYSTEM OF A DOWN is set to perform a series of stadium concerts across South America next spring. The “Wake Up!” tour kicks off on April 24 in Bogotá, Colombia, and wraps up on May 10 in São Paulo, Brazil.
Band says: “Wake up, South America! We did. We heard you. We’re coming.”
A ticket pre-sale starts tomorrow, Tuesday, December 17, at 10 a.m. local time (8 a.m. in Peru). The general sale will open on Thursday, December 19, at 12 p.m. local time.

April 27 – Estadio Nacional – Lima, Peru
April 30 – Parque Estadio – Nacional – Santiago, Chile

May 08 – Estadio Nilton Santos – Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
May 10 – Allianz Parque – São Paulo, Brazil
Last week, SYSTEM OF A DOWN announced additional shows for their unique stadium tour next year. These include a second performance at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on August 27 with KORN; Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois, on September 1 with AVENGED SEVENFOLD; and Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Ontario, on September 5 with DEFTONES. The Toronto dates mark the first time a hard rock act will perform two consecutive nights at the brand-new Rogers Stadium. Special guests POLYPHIA and WISP will open all shows.
